So I have a couple of pin hole size holes in rear weld of the resonator on my ws2. Would rtv or jb weld work? or get it welded or get a new ws2?

Thats weird, sure it doesnt have a tiny crack in it? I would high temp RTV all around the weld in a nice bead if it doesnt have a crack.

hmm thanks. I'll have to take another look. The reason I found it was I have the infamous exhaust rattle at 2k rpms. So i got under my car and was hitting the gas with a stick to try to figure out what was causing the sound and it seemed to be coming from that weld and then the air hitting the heat shield....idk ...I felt the air coming out of the holes.

Because it rusted through at both ends, I replaced my ws2 resonator with one from summit for like $24. I clamped it together and it leaks and sound like rice at 4500-ish. I need to weld that beotch together, stat.

Just bring it to a exhaust chain and have them weld it if you don't have the tools, $20 tops if they aren't hosing you.
