Just picked up this old Girondelle single speed (not a fixie) yesterday.

I am going to replace the handle bars with straight bars, completely replace the brakes all together, replace the pedals, maybe the cranks and the seat. Then I am going to paint it flat black and Destro it up a bit. Pretty fun to ride though.

If you were really rad, you'd ride your bike with no handlebars.

Careful!!!! It looks like you may have some broken glass on the floor there in your bike/shoe shed/dojo.

The cable comes through the old milk door, yes my building is that old. And I don't have a mop to mop that little front area. Plus me and my roommate both have a shitload of shoes it's not even funny.

I am putting straight bars on it and totally redoing the brakes altogether so the cables won't look so retarded.

Nice, I love the old school pic in your sig!

My friend is working on the bike now, putting new bars and brakes on it, maybe even a whole new crank set. He is gonna strip it all down and paint it flat black.

The lower part of the front forks are chrome, they are staying that way so they can be kind of Destro-ish. My girl is working on some Destro stencils for me for the bike.
